ummm...I think ur hamster hates u. . . No, just kidding! I would start over from stage one. Let her get used to you before you try to pick her up again. Lay ur hand at the bottom of the cage, and just let her smell it, and explore it. Do that for a week or two. *Dont try to touch her for the next few weeks.*kep laying ur hand at the bottom of the cage for a while. A little longer each day. Once she gets used to you, she will crawl onto your hand when you put it in her cage. The next time she crawls over ur hand, slightly pick her up off the ground. Then immediatly tell her good girl and give her a treat. Cntinue like this for 3 weeks. Everytime she crawls onto ur hand, lift her a little higher. Then she should no ur scent, and be your friend again! Did that make any sense??
let it free and buy a new one
you should flick her on the nose when she does that and then get her out and play with her everyday for about an hour.Sure enough she will let you hold her.
Place a toilet paper tube in her cage. When she crawls in it, safely remove the tube %26 her from the cage. Gently place her in your hands %26 hold her. Also allow her to climb all over you %26 safely wander about on a bedsheet placed on the floor. Do this several times a day.
Eventually, she will let you come near her in her home. Always allow her to sniff you from the front. Do not try reaching her from behind. She will probably get more scared.
Some hamsters become territorial in regards to their home %26 she may feel a bit threatened.
Edited: Start right away %26 tell whoever will be caring for her as well.
Ok..
Some female hamsters get like this. Aside from suggested by everyone else, you may want to go and see a vet. There are a few conditions a hamster can get with make them nippy. Also, you're not going to like this, but see if she actually does bite you.
We had a hamster when I was younger who would go on her back, and seem like she was trying to bite. However if you managed to get your hand around her firmly, she'd not bite at all, and was fun to hold after a while.
Above all else, she's a hamster. Some don't like to be held. Some female hamsters become aggresive when they reach sexual maturity. Some people recommend having them spayed.. but this is a risky operation for your little hamster. In truth, would you want something 20 or 30 times your size to pick you up?
Good luck.
