my hammy's been having a little problem breathing it seems. she's only a year old and i'm really worried. she sorta makes these faint squeeking noises, also you no how your ribs expands ans un-expands when you breath? well i've been looking at her ribs and she's not "expanding" 600 times an hour anymore instead there's sort of a delay from one expansion to another at one point but somewhat normal the next. and she making sounds like she has mucus in her nose when i listen to her breath. HELP! (please no rude answers, just trying to figure out what happened and what i should do)

When did this start? If its only been a day, keep her warm tonight and see if she gets better tomorrow. If not, you should DEFINATELY take her to the vet. Until nighttime, provide her with plenty of bedding and make sure shes near a light source. Also give her some lettuce, it should help to improve her health.
ok i know this may sound stupid, but take her/ him to the vet! i know it sounds stupid taking a rodent to the vet but it may work
It's never "stupid" to take an animal to a vet. No matter what kind, size, or color your animal is you should always provide it with proper medical care.
Please take the little guy to a vet and you should look at this site http://www.hamsterific.com/illnessguide. and see if you can find your hamster's issues.
TAKE IT TO THE VET!!!!!
if ur feeding her those mini carrots then she mite be allergic to the preservatives in it bcuz my friends guinea pig had that. i hope shes ok! :)
Do you have your pet on cedar shavings? If so, get RID of them. They tear up the poor animal's sinuses.
A lot of people keep their rodents on cedar shavings, and in enclosed places (like aquariums), and the animals develop sinus infections from it.
Use unscented pine shavings.
