Answers:
well..they are getting along well because they havent matured yet..u better be prepared to get a cage/tank in case they start fighting..they are really fierce with other hamsters...they can cause deep scars on the other ham..so it is better if u separate them..if u still want them to be near one another, then put a divider in the tank..but if ure lucky..then they might not fight at all
Anything is possible, but it would be hard. Good luck on that!
well maybe if you has some power tools but... well the tubes can like just be put in the cage through the top and out of the cage if that is what you wanted.
I'm not sure about female hamsters, but I used to raise mice and a whole colony of females get along pretty well. Some spats about whose dominant and once that's worked out, they are OK. Some get weird and fight if they have babies, but a mom in the cage with older daughters will often let the girls help care for babies.
Here's how I had my set-up and I liked it, it worked well. I had an aquarium and covered the top with wire screen, or you can use a small square hardware cloth (metal wire). If you need to, you can tack a wood frame around the outside to make it stay and keep it's shape. Set a hamster city on top shaping the screen so they fit right, with a tube that goes down. Cut the screen to let the tube go through, but keep it snug around it. Use an extra piece or wire if you need to tie around it. If you have more cities and tubes, you can add on, but remember, you have to clean it! I'd clean one part while the critters stayed in the other half, then two days later do the other side. Feed dry food in both parts but keep wet food and water in the area easiest to clean. Make sure all animals have access to the food and water.
You might talk to someone at a pet store for more ideas.
Oh, one thing I did later that I wish I'd done all along was line the aquarium with newspaper and put a screen OVER it to make the animals leave it there. That absorbs more waste and water. The newspaper isn't too good for bedding, the ink comes off. Clean shredded papers are good. Or wood chips or whatever your bedding is. Both hamsters and mice love to nest and move bedding around, shredding and rearranging. If it touches the water botttle you get to clean a wet cage. I started putting a heavy glass saucer under it and that helped cut down some on the accidents.
Also, they love an exercise wheel. But you may have to take it away sometimes to sleep! If it squeaks, use a lubricant that won't kill your pets--Vasiline or Crisco. Good luck!!
