Hamster Stores?

Does anyone know where you can get HANDHELD, NON-BITING hamster? Mine bites so im taking it back. I know some people who bought in handheld. Does anyone know any stores??
Answers:
Check your local animal shelter or humane society. I got 2 hamsters at mine and neither of them bite. Those places usually don't put the animals up for adaption unless there nice.
go to your nearest animal shelter they could probably help you, although you should try to tame yours it just takes time and tlc
Hamsters are natural born biters and can be aggressive no matter where you get them from. Teddy bear hamsters are probably the most docile breed, but even they tend to bite, especially when scared or in a new environment. The best "chain" pet store is probably Pet Smart, as they actually hold their animals occasionally. I would actually suggest getting a pet rat over a hamster any day. They are more intelligent, they don't bite (unless they REALLY have to), and they are great with children. Long story short, most if not all, hamsters bite.
They have handheld hamsters, it's just don't buy it when you see it, ask the employee to hold it first.Petco has mean and nice hamsters, Petsmart has nervous hamsters, and the store i know best is Incredible Pets. They have the nicest hamsters. Their hamsters only bite if they get scared.
i buy mine at petsmart and have had no problems, they carry only females, they will nibble in the beginning, but after a few days they don't its just nervousness, and if they smell food on your hands, so always wash first.
