My hamster Pookie is a Chinese Dwarf Hamster. When we bought him, we bought a hamster named Hamlet. We ended up selling him because he attacked Pookie. When Pookie finally grew his tail back, two days later, it was gone. I think he bit it off. Any people out there who can help me?

If the hamsters tail was endured and half gone the hamster ate the rest off. I know it sounds gross but thats the truth.
My brother pulled off my gerbils tail on the end and my gerbil ate it till all the showing flesh was gone and tail bone. So dont worry about it.

If heals well, then leave it. It will probably grow back if his old tail grew back.
