Hamster question 7?

hi inhave had 2 synira hamsters for about a year know and they are both female and people say that 2 synarie hamsters in 1 cage is a bad idea but again i have had mine a year and they have never bit has this happen to everyone else and people quit saying they cant live together when they can
Answers:
They haven't bit each other that you know of. Remember that hamsters are nocturnal and their most active times are when you are sleeping. sure, they might not have physical injuries that you can see, but what would happen if you did get another cage? Will the other hamster perk up and suddenly become more friendly? Will they stop biting you? (you mentioned in hamster question 6 that your hamsters were biting you).
It is not natural for hamsters to live in close quarters. Get another cage.
it doesnt matter UNLESS they are LESBIANS. good luck with that
Doesn't seem like you have problem...No two animals are alike. For Example, the say Pit Bulls make terrible pets to a family with children. Yet there are many who live happily with them.
I have had two syrain hamsters before both female aswell and they never got into a fight infact if i took one away from the other then they would both get really upset and start making squeeling noises! They only don't get on if it is two males!
They do like to have their own space. If you have a large cage and the hamsters do fine together just ignore what people are telling you. Only YOU know whats best for your furry friends. I'm guessing the hamsters where raised together, that explains why they don't fight with each other.
they are probably just friends, cuz my 2 female hamsters were raised together and they kept fighting so they couldn't live together.
dont separate them they are probley friends if you separate them they might stress
No it hasn't i am surprised with the hamsters noramally they will fight to the death!! I only said that cuz i did research and they said that and it happened to my friends they both died and i just thought you should be warned!! you are extremely lucky to have hamsters like that!! But u never know my friends hamsters were Syrian hamsters too and after a while they started to fight so i would have an extra cage ready cuz u never no!!!
Have fun with your hamster!!
dun worry,it doesnt matter...the norm is tat hamsters are not sociable but tis will show ur hamsters are unique, isnt that good??congrats on having unique hamsters, and cheers to all those wif unique hamsters...
Two females are generally ok as there is no competition between them. Two males though, and they can (and invariably will) fight and squabble like you'd not believe as they both believe they are the "alpha" male.
