Answers:
Any hamster bites, that is why they need a calm and a gentle person to tame them.
Go read some stuff about taming.

My daughter has a teddy bear hamster and it has bitten a couple times. It was when it got scared though or when he first came home and was nervous. He does not anymore. It doesn't hurt bad. He just got scared is all.
Any animal will bite if it is scared. Russian Dwarf bite alot more then usualy though.
I have a hamster and it nibbles on you. it doesn't matter because
it does not hurt and you will learn that your hamster does not mean to bite you but when it bites it wants to be left alone in its cage.It doesn't bite but it nibbles and they make good pets1
heck yes they can
I have 2
One would NEVER bite me
but the other bites all the time.
i got a teddy bear hamster from the humane society and it was very well tamed they told my all hamsters bite but teddy bears don't bite as much unless they are scared or if you hurt them
no only if frightened.
they will if they get scared. and when you get one, they have to bite so they can get to know you and to find out that you are not food.
Well, usually hamster will bite if they smell a scent on your hands or they feel threatend and are trying to get away. So, aslong as you keep your hands non-food smelling, and try not to make your hamster feel threatend. I hope that this answers your question! Thanks, and good luck,

Our Teddy Bear hamster only bit when he was frightened, yet the bite wasn't anything major. He just seemed to want to get his point across. No blood was ever drawn from a bite. I think it was more of a nibble then anything. Good luck with yours! BTW, did you name it yet??
I have never had a Teddy Bear bite me.
