i tried the gloves i tried getting it used to me and it still bites me and it pregnant does that have anything to do with it. i got it from the pet store and it got pregnant thier help

No offense, but some people can just be plain morons sometimes. You know how pregnant women get, with all the hormones. Pregnant humans would bite you if social ettiquite would allow it, and fortunantly for us it doesnt. But, hamsters have no social ettiquite, so bitting you is the only way she can get the message accross to you, because she also cant speak, to leave her be. And, just like humans, after she has her babies, she will get nice again, if not remain a little protective over her kids. That is just part of being a good mom though.
My friend and I have bred hamsters for pretty close to three years now and most, but not all, of our females are the same way. To keep her nice and mellow when she raises the babies, make a food offering from your hand to her every day and she will get to the point where she is not so mean wether she has a hormone problem or not.
Now, I am not calling you stupid or anything, but I get a little enjoyment out of answering questions like this.
Have fun with the hammy babies, and remember, she has no social code, so she can bite you. lol.

keep in mind that hamsters have HORRIBLE eye sight so all your movements should be slow around them. wake the hamster up before you pick it up...and remember to scoop it up from the bottom.
call the petstore and tell them that they should you a pregnant hamster.

I used to work at a pet store, and always hated how hamsters have always been sold as a great pet. They suck. and for the most part, most hamsters do bite. they dont like being handled. especially the dwarfs. anyways. nothin you can do. maybe feed him to a snake. If you want a great small pet that doesnt bite, and loves to be played with. Go for a rat. they are often hated, but I think they are one of the best pets one could have, for a small animal.

you should was your hands before you touch the hamster cause you probably smells stuff on your hands and thinks its food.
