Help my 2 male russian hamsters have had kids . how many could be in a litter . i have counted 3 up 2 now help

Answers:
the average litter size is 6 but they can have anything upto 12, if its their first litter it is usually upto 6 babies. Put your hamster cage somewhere quiet where they wont be disturbed, give them some torn up toilet paper, the mum will make her nest with it. Start giving your hamster chopped up cucumber and apple and a chopped up boiled egg, this will help the mum, and when the babies start to walk around they will enjoy eating this as well, at around 10-15 days old they will open their eyes this is when they get really cute, once they are covered in fur and have their eyes open you can handle them, but try not to stress their mum out too much, do not handle them before as mum will see this as a treat and may kill them, if you leave the male in, then they can mate as quickly as 24 hours after giving birth and she could give birth again 18 days later
im gonna just throw somthing out there, one has tobe a female
? how could they have kids ask a vet or look it up
not sure call ur out of hours vet surg..
How the feck did 2 male hamsters do it, I am gobsmacked, get in touch with Guinness Books.....now.
:O
1st litter, I'd say.. 2 - 6?
Usually 1st litters are small, but there's a chance there could be more.
In case you didn't know, leave the real male in, he'll help care for the babies! But after they're weaned, you'll need to separate them..

The 2nd looks good for you! It contridicts my advice about leaving the male in.. but I didn't realise she could get pregnant again so soon. Good luck with your babies.
Edit: Also, their sexing page for the babies: http://exoticpets.about.com/od/hamsters/...
How did 2 males have babies? Who gave birth to them?
they can have a much as 7 and as little as 1 :) dont worry too much. dont touch the babies. i know it is tempting, but t might cause the mum to think the babies are unhealthy.
good luck :)

Two males? Sell your story to the Daily Mail - you stand to earn a fortune!
Russian hamsters can have large litters - up to a dozen perhaps - be careful because there is a tendency to kill the young. Also, as the males mature they tend to pick on the older males (daddy!) and I have known them fight to the death.
lmao! by the way... i think one of them might be female!!
just a wild out there guess but one of them is female...when the pups are born seperate the male. usally there can be 2-7 pups a littler but 1st litters are small so u can expect 2-4 but u can always expect more.
hope this helps
sweetheart, I dont think you are too sure of your birds and bees, and hamsters. One of your pets HAS to be a female to have young ones.. two boys just dont make a mummy
