is it safe to let a hedgehog go swimming in a pool .. and do they have any problems??

Yes, it's safe they are excellent swimmers but you should be careful! Although hedgehogs are excellent swimmers, an owner will often be amazed at the response that is elicited by a little water. The spines go up, hissing begins and the owner may have an actual fight upon their hands! Be forewarned that the pet may resist handling immediately after being in water but a tempting piece of fruit or mealworm will often get them over it.

no it is not safe they can not swim if you r trying to get it wet try filling a bath tub half an inch it will probal not like it like my little bro's old teacher had a hadgehog and every time she put water on it would sweek so much so maybe you shouldn't if you want it to take a bath use a spray bottle and gloves
