Harness for guinea pig?

I havent ever found a harness made especially for guinea pigs. Would a kitten or puppy harness work? Do anyone know any GOOD small animal harnesses? Thanx 4 ur advice!
Answers:
I have a harness that was specifically made for guinea pigs ... and none of my pigs will wear it. They hate it completely!
We originally bought it because at the time we lived in an apartment, and would take our pigs out to munch on grass and clovers, and wanted to make sure they wouldn't take off on us. Not only is it hard to get the piggie to let you put it on (they're not the kind of animals meant to be on leashes/harnesses, unfortunately), but it's pretty pointless in the end. If you want to walk your pig outside? Don't bother, chances are that the piggie will just 'freeze' and stand in one spot like ours did. Or spend the next five minutes desperately trying to slip out of it, or giving you the stare of death until you give in and take it off for them.
Every pig is different, but none of mine ever took to the harness idea. If you're wanting to take your piggie out for walks, I would suggest a soft small-animal carrier (link below to the one I use).
Living world sells a wide variety of harnesses for many small animals, they actually sell one specially made for guinea pigs. Check your local pet store and if they dont have any, ask that they order some. But for the meantime a small cat harness should work as an alternative, but ideally the guinea pig one should be used since its a different design

no guinea pigs weren't made to walk on leashes infact they wont. if u want to take ur guinea pig outside get it a little playpen or make one. even if u find a harness made for guinea pigs it doesnt mean its good for them. if u need ideas on making a guinea pig play pen email me
It does no matter what harness you use, because it will NOT work. The guinea pigs anatomy is not made to bend in the way that the harnesses force them too resulting in either death or a broken spine which will lead to death. Why do you need a harness? If you want your pigger outside you pick it up and put it in a play pen, if you want your guinea pig inside you pick it up and put it in a safe room.
PLEASE don't get a harness/leash/collar for your guinea pig! Your guinea pig will struggle so much, it will injure itself SEVERELY! Save your money, and don't buy one, please!
Hope this helps!
I have seen them at petco
i've seen them too at petsmart. i have one for my rats. they will wear it. by no means will they actually WALK on it but i suppose you know that already. u just want it so u can take him outside right? people on here are so negative. god. check petsmart, petco. dont get him a cat one or a dog one. it will be too big no matter what size and he could slip out.
good luck
