Hedgehog Help?

I have a hedgehog thats albino and its shy every time i pet her she goes into a ball but ive noticed shes been putting her quills down lately how do i tame her to be used to me?

Sounds like she may already be getting to know you. You can do something to help her really get used to you. If you have a couple of old tee shirts that you won't mind getting holes in or messed on start wearing them. You want her to associate your smell with safety. Wear the old shirt to bed, maybe even all day too. Then take it off and put it in her cage for her to hide in. She might chew the shirt or potty on it, that's why you want an old shirt...also nothing with buttons or something she might choke on. No woven sweaters either, she might get a foot caught in that and injure herself. Keep doing that day after day and she will soon begin to really relax around you.
Give the hedgehog time.
Just be nice with her, feed her well, and she'll feel confident with you. Good Luck!
You need to act like a hedgehog. I'm not trying to be funny. i saw this thing on the discovery channel once. a lot of animals become less afraid of humans when they see them acting like them. especially monkeys.
Careful handling is a necessity.
Most hedgehogs do not particularly like to be cuddled, but most will allow themselves to be picked up and will readily climb over their handler.
Tame hedgehogs by handling gently and frequently, gently scooping up the hedgehog around the sides. Initially, your hedgehog may curl into a ball when you try to pick him or her up. However, if you just cradle the ball of hedgehog in your hands the spines do not really hurt, and usually the hedgehog will unroll within a few minutes and start exploring once it realizes you mean no harm. Be careful the hedgehog does not manage to coil into a ball over one of your fingers though - this is extremely painful!
If your hedgehog is really resistant to handling at first, a thick towel should be all you need to be able to pick him or her up.
Just handle her gently daily, and give her time to get used to you.
