Help i just got a new hamster?

ya i got a new one today and i was wondering how and when i should play with it and when i play with it should i like hold it everyday, or what and if i hold it do they like that?
Answers:
You should leave it alone for 2-3 days.
When you do finally take it out, wake him up slowly. If you startle him, he may bite. Fluff the bedding around him to wake him up and get his attention.
Then try offering him a small treat, like a sunflower seed to get him out of bed.
Then pet him slowly and don't move too fast.
If he seems ok so far, scoop him up in your hands. Hold him over the cage so if he falls, he falls back into his cage.
If he seems afraid and won't let you touch him, this is ok. He is still adjusting. Just leave him alone and try again the next day.
This should be good for day one. Every day, slowly increase the amount of time he is outside the cage. About half an hour to an hour a day is enough play time for him.
It helps to take him out at night, when he will be more awake.
good luck
Leave your hamster alone for a week so that it can get used to its new home.
It'd probably be best to give it attention at LEAST once a day. After that, just work with whatever your schedule allows.
you should make it happen slow
1) talk to it for a few days
2) pick it up for a few seconds a few times a day
3) gradually hold him for longer periods of time
you might also make sure he sees you puttin food in his bowl

o and the most important thing of all.. if you use wood bedding, ONLY use aspen wood
Hamsters usually sleep during daytime. So the best time to handle them is in the evening or the early morning. Just scoop it up gently and talk to it quietly. After a while it will get used to your voice and to handling it.
Be careful, a scared hamster might bite.
Just be gentle, and you and your pet can be friends for a long time
it ALL depends on the personality of the hamster. some like to be cuddled and other wanna be left alone!! it doesn't matter what time. but make sure u don't hold it 24/7 cause they do need their rest. its ok if u wake em up every once in a while so u can hold it, it will catch up with its sleep, (they do sleep alot) good luck with ur new best friend!!
leave it for a few days to let it get used to its surrounding then handle it everyday so that a bond will grow between you two. if a hamster is not handled for more than 5 days it will become wild again.
Wait a few days for the hamster to get adjusted to his new home. Once he has adjusted play with him later during the day when he is already up. You should play with him at least 30 minutes per day. They like it when they are held
Leave him for 24hours. Then you should pick him up and just let him get used to you for about 5-10minutes.
You should put him on your lap and let him do what he wants. And hold him too. This decreases the chance of him biting.
Ok here's what you should do:
- Sit by his cage and talk to him very quietly.
- Leave him in his cage for the first 4 or 5 days.
- Talk to him every day in the same voice.
- On day 4, let him sniff your hand
- If he doesn't seem to mind, pet him with 1 or 2 fingers very gently.
- On day 5, you can hold him
- Be very gentle with him
- Let him crawl on you, and still talk to him.
- Give him kisses :)
- Hold him for about 30 minutes a day.
- And increase it more and more daily.
- Soon, he'll grow to love you! :)
Best of luck!
Hope I helped

Let him/her get used to ur house and all the new smells and the after a week or so start to put ur hand in the cage and pet it. This way it gets used to ur smell and ur voice then in another couple weeks start to take him/her out and play with her. U can get a ball also they love those just make sure that the lid is always tight.
