Hamster in labor?

What are the signs that a hamster is in labor? I have a 2 month old pregnant hamster and she looks very pregnant. She's never had a problem with me holding her but today she doesnt want to be touched. Will she give birth today?

She knows she is going to have little hamsters soon so she is trying to keep her space and wants to be left alone.. The mothers get very protective at this point.. Make sure she is separated from the father and others.. Don't be surprised if she ends up eating at least one of her Babies. they do this because they can tell if it has a problem. Good luck with them.. Hamsters breed fast and multiply fast.. Trust me we have had over 50 .. If you want more info go to this site

I hope this answers all your questions!
It's hard to tell, give her time and check in on as often as you can. Good luck!My wife did not want me to touch her when she was pregnant, and was in labor you might get bitten! LOL!
If your hamster is in labor she would be breathing rapidly and maybe rolling around a bit. Her back could also not be right, she could be arching it or 'rolling' it , putting it in unusual positions.
Make sure you're there for her when she gives birth. Don't disturb her or touch her but watch her and maybe stroke her head slightly but if she becomes irritated maybe just stick to watching her.. Good luck.
