Hamster help?

what is the safest place to put your hamster in while cleaning its cage?
Answers:
The safest place for your hamster when your cleaning its cage is in an exercise ball or the box you got it in to bring home from the pet store. If you chose to use a box make sure it has holes in it but there not too large, hamsters can fit through any space they can get their head through, also if you use the box you can leave it in there longer than 30 min. The exercise balls work great, just make sure the lid is closed tightly and that any stairs you have are blocked off.
Take your hamster out of its cage and put it somewhere such as a hamster ball, a box or an enclosed space where it can run around.
Good luck

How about the bathtub?
by a little ball thing u put him in ... and let him run around.
i put mine in a little ball in my room
Something at least four times taller than they are, with sides that are plastic or slippery so they have no way of using their claws/paws to climb. This includes tall buckets, tall tuberware containers
when I had a hamster I had a little travel cage. I have seen little boxes in Wal-mart for small pets that would do. If he has a ball to play in that would work for a short time .
You should put it in a little plastic container called a "Critter Box". You can buy them at you local petstore
i would recomend putting your hamster in a hamster ball that is the safest way and while cleaning be in a closed room and you dont have to be in it but say the garage i would put it in there if i were cleaning the cage in there or i would just keep him in my room with the door closed.
i close off a little area and put them in there ball if you don't have a ball buy one at super pets or somethin
buy one of those hamster wheels- and he can run around the house exercising- while you clean it-my daughter hamster used to love it-lol,xx
an exercise ball.
An upside down tissue box with air holes in in and a small rock on top or a carry case.
i usually keep a extra fish tank ( plastic type) . so when any time i clean the cage i will put my hamster in the fish tank.. :-)
I used to put it in a hamster ball on a hamtrack, but then i found something easier, a figure 8 S.A.M. trach that closes with a bubble! It is very ease, and if you have a crittertrail or habatrail, you can just attacth it to the cage after and let the hamster go back in!.
Any other questions, (ANYONE) look at my website @ www.freewebs.com/hamsterhighwa... , the constantly updated super hamster website.
