Well I just got 2 hamsters and they are brothers. But they both got into a fight and mine bit the other's ear and it was bleeding a little and the other one bit the part on my hamster where the whiskers are. I wasn't sure what they fought about. I'm assuming it was over their hamster wheel. But do they sell some kind of ointment related stuff for hamsters?
Answers:
sounds bad. and sounds like you have syrians. the fastest, quckiest, is to dab the wounds with saline water with a cotton tip, that will help you alot.
If you wish for them not to fight, do separate them.
Good Luck:)

I don't know about ointment but you should get those hamsters in separate cages or they will just keep fighting.
i really don't think so,but if they keep constantly fighting then u need to take one of them back where you got it from because eventually they will kill each other
Unless it's bleeding loads, just leave it alone and let it heal. It is an animal and in the wild they get cuts and stuff and heal, so ljust eave it alone unless it looks really nasty.
First, you should put the hamsters into SEPARATE cages and let them live 'alone' where they can ony 'visit' between the bars of their cage. Second, don't put 'ointment' of any kind on a hamster ... they are rodents and 'clean themselves' and any ointment would just get 'eaten' or 'washed away.' Keep a 'good eye' on both animals ... check for further bleeding, redness of the skin, or swelling. If you get those, take the hamster(s) to the Vet IMMEDIATELY. The 'reason' the two brothers were fighting is that it is what hamsters DO ... especially two of the same gender ... so if you must go get a cage for the second hamster, empty out a 'file drawer' and set that up for one (make sure he can't 'climb out' using any bars or 'steps' ... even steps that are 'a stretch apart' may be 'too close' for an agile hamster) and go get a new cage IMMEDIATELY.
Don't worry, the same thing happened to me only I had two sisters. You are finding out what I did the hard way. Hamsters are not social animals. They do not get along with other hamsters or rodents. What we had to do was get two cages and put one in each. The wounds (my hamsters actually had the same injuries one got their ear bit and the other got where their whiskers are bit bad) healed on their own, Hamsters are a lot like a wild animal and have naturally high immune systems so a bite like that if they were in wild wouldn't kill them. The most important thing is too get two cages because they are not going to stop fighting. The two sisters I had curled up beside each other for a few months after I got them, then they matured and could no longer be in the same cage without a brawl. It's kind of sad but it's the way Hamsters are.
not all hamhams can live together
You need to seperate them immediately. Hamsters are solitary critters (with the exception of dwarf) and will kill eachother if caged together.
If it's not too bad you can put a little bit of neosporin on it, but if there's more than a drop or two of blood they may need to see a vet.
here is a link where u can find all the information u need
by the way hamsters don't like to be with more hamsters in the same cage

if you read all the books and every1 will tell u u shud split them up and put them in different cages
You don't put 2 hamsters in one cage - unless it's for mating and even then under strict supervision because they will fight. siblings will fight too - so separate them before they hurt each other.Hamsters like their own space. The only time hamsters tolerate each other is when they are babies with their mother - once they reach sexual maturity - watch out!
they are going to continue fighting, get seperate cages for them,my niece once had two hamsters and one morning she got up and found out that one of her hamsters had bitten off the head of the other hamster! get seperate cages!
This happens when hamsters are put together even if they're of realtion. I had two hamster twins and once, i accidentally without knowing put one in the others cage and they fought. it was horrible, but it never happened again. but be careful of the wounds, as they WILL heal, but if you see something fishy like a bump, it CAN be a sign of an absces, immediately take them to the vet.
good luck.
if these hamsters are not dwarfs you must separate them, ie separate cages. Thw syrians cannot live with another hamster, they will fight to the death. Syrians are the teddy bear types, panda bear, black bear, honey bear, dalmation, short hair, long haur, calico, tortoise etc. They are the biggest hamsters there are. they are solitary and need their own cage, but love people more than the other breeds.
Separate them, as they get older they will only fight even more and one could end up getting killed.
no, but buy another wheel will ya?
