Hamster Help!!?

I am very worried about my dwarf hamster. I got her three weeks ago but my parents would not let me get two. Myhamster seems so lonley. all she ever does is walk around and sleep. then when she wakes up she squeals all night long like she is crying. My bestfriend is kind of. special. She can do a lot of weird stuff like talk to animals or read the future (her anncestors were Gypsies...how cool!?!?) She came over and told me my hamster was lonley, but no matter how much i ask my mom and dad won't allow me to get another hamster, i am not kidding, please HELP!!!
Answers:
Dwarf hamsters do enjoy living in pairs. You can read through and then show your parents the following two websites that talks about it:

http://www.petplanet.co.uk/small_breed_p...
Here, they are referring to Campbell's dwarfs in talking about them living in pairs. They are one of the most common types of dwarf hamsters there are, so I just guessed that the one you have is a Campbell's.
A few things to consider:
1. When you got the hamster 3 weeks ago, was it very young? Or did you get it from a friend (as opposed to a pet store) who might have had it for a while before you? The reason I ask is that it is much much easier to introduce two hamsters to each other when they are younger than at an older age.
2. Just a note - if you do end up getting a hamster friend for the one you have already, it MUST be the same species of hamster, and if you are not planning to breed it for babies, it MUST also be the same sex.
3. If you got the hamster 3 weeks ago at a pet store, there's a small chance that there are more of the same hamster from the same litter still there waiting to be sold. Of course, this depends on the pet store and how busy they are, but it might be worth a shot. Hamsters from the same litter will recognize each other by scent when they see each other, and this will also make it much easier to (re-)introduce them and have them live together.
Here is a website that has excellent information regarding Campbell's (aka Russian) dwarf hamsters. It devotes an entire section to introducing two hamsters to each other the proper way.

Good luck, and I hope that helps!
You can start your own job of looking after people's hamsters.
You could show your mom and dad that you are responsible with hamsters. Then you will have trust with your parents and enough money to buy a 2nd hamster thatmay just work.
Good luck!
just buy them and tell your parents later. they won't kill your pets i believe. i got my 3 hamsters a cat 3 dogs a bird and fishes in this way :p
dwarfs need another hammie, to be friends with. at least that's what the books say.
play with her and by the way sqeaking means she feels good about her self and happy!
