Hamster Vacation!!!!!!!!!?

I'm going to get a hamster. My family and i are wondering if we can bring it on a car ride to Preston, Connecticut.We live in Lindenhurst, NY. It takes a minimum of 4 hours to get there and we usually take a rest stop. Please answer quickly!!!!!!

yes you can take it with you. you just have to be very carful. but first you have to check to see if the hotel ( if your staying in a hotel) alows hamsters. unless you want to sneak it in. But it's totaly cool to have a hamster in a car. just try not to shake it up. and i also suggest that you put a blanket over the cage to the hamster wont be staring ah you the intier time and so it will have it's privetcy.

If you make sure it has everything it needs in order live then I guess.
As long as it isn't in any bad heat it should be fine.

it depends becuase if you leave it in your car w/out ac it'll die.
however, dont leave it directly in front of the ac, or in direct sunlight, because it'll die. they're extremely sensitive, so im not sure how wise it is. maybe you could ask someone to take care of it (if it doesnt bitethe person, of course).
if you're careful, you'll be able to. try to prevent the cage from shaking and stuff so it can sleep (they're nocturnal; the less you disturb them when they're sleeping, the longer they live, just llike humans)

You shouldnt do that even if you have air conditioning. Because once I sold a hamster to this lady and she took him home(which was only like 30 mins away) and he died even though she had air conditioning

i don't think so. i took my hamster to my sister's house. it was only 20 min. and mine seemed uncomf.

No, it is not a good idea to bring a hamster on a road trip. The car will most likely bump up and down witch will deeply disturb your hamster. The bumps will cause irritation and agitation your hamster. Also, the heat in your car (even with the air-conditioning) can further irritate your hamster. If you bring your hamster on the road trip it can and probably will cause stress for the hamster, and might cause a stress related illness such as wet-tail. If not treated immediately, wet-tail can kill your hamster within 24 hours.
