Hamster not eating?

My hamster is new i just got him 2 days ago. and he hasnt really eaten anything. he has only dranken a little bt of water
he eats like on seed and then he is done
is he sick?

Well he might be having trouble getting used to his cage! My hamster did that at first and i was worried to but he was ok! Just make sure your hamster is eating and drinking!

i dont think hes sick Maybe Hes still not used to his surrondings Maybe leave him alone for a few days or hours. But if you think his sick go to the vet. And see if you can help make your hamster feels much better.

At this stage, I wouldn't worry too much yet. I think he is still trying to settle in. He might be shy and a bit self-conscious!
Make sure the cage is away from any direct sunlight or direct heat, make sure that he has a constant supply of fresh water and that he has enough bedding to make himself comfortable. You may want to vary his diet a bit, maybe introduce him to a different brand of hamster food, or provide him with a small quantity of unsalted nuts or seeds, fresh apple or fresh carrot.
If within a week, you haven't seen any improvement, then take him to the vet for a check-up.

I also have a hamster and i was worried about the same thing when i first got him, what i did was a gave him a variety of things to eat and then i fed him sunflowerseeds through the cage, and he loved him, i also realized when i would miss his food dish when i was cleaning his cage and stuff would end up on his bedding he would eat all of the stuff that was out of the dish. try that! Don't worry about the water just make sure its clean and he will take lil sips. Good luck!
