Hamster:help?

ok i have a 1 and a half yr old hamster ok? and i am getting 2 new baby hamsters can they live with the older hamster?
Answers:
No. Hamsters are generally solitary animals, and should be housed separately from each other.
yes but they my fight a little at first
No! Hamsters cannot live together. Unless its a dwarf hamster, then I do believe you can get a couple together in a large tank. I grew up with the regular size hamsters %26 whenver they were put together they fought and it will end up fatal, so dont do it!
no. absolutely not! hamsters are known to fight till the death! in some countries, it's a sport...a very sick one if you ask me. i would most definitely not keep them together. the two babies SHOULD be fine together. just be sure that there is always plenty of food available and no reason for them to have competition. but keep your babies far away from you older hamster. dwarf hamster though tend to be a bit less aggressive...so they MAY be okay. . .if they are dwarfs, you may try to introduce them to the older dwarf. do not mix breeds though. but simply watch them.
no your hamster will kill the babies because it is a dominite hamster but if you slowly put them together every now and then they will eventually be friends
...probaly not.. depends on wat hammy u get! hammys rok!!
I would say no. Especially because they don't know each other. The hamster you have had will probably want nothing to do with the other ones. I've even had 2 sisters that ended up fighting and I had to split them up. If the two you are getting are together, put those 2 together, but don't put them with the one you've had.
no, no, no. They will fight, hamsters are very solitary animals. They prefer to live alone. There is the odd case that 2 will live together but I wouldnt take the chance. The old hamster is accustomed to living alone so dont put anything in with him.
As for the new 2 they may live together until they sexually mature, but beware they will fight to the death.
i wouldn't suggest it because the older hamster will feel that they are invading its territory, so the older hamster will fight with them. and besides, when the baby hamsters grow older, they will fight with each other, so you're going to have to separate them too. if you don't, one of them could end up dying. one of mine did, and then i separated them all.
no they each need their own cage, syrians are solitary, dwarfs can live in pairs, but introducing new ones is tricky.
