ok, when a hamster just mated, from then on, how long will it take 'till the babys are born?

"The gestation period of a hamster lasts only fifteen and a half to sixteen days." Our one hamster just had babies after only about 2 weeks. They have a very short gestation period. The babies are only a few days old and have already about doubled in size from when they were born.
ummm..i not too sure, it depends from each one. probaly about 2 weeks!
If both hamsters are fertile then it will take about 21 days. Make sure that the male hamster is out of the cage when they are born or he will go cannibal because he wants the female all to himself. Hope this helps!
