If my female hamster's coochy smells, and it looks like she's always discharging what could be wrong?...I've just noticed it recently. I hope it's nothing, because the vet visits do get expensive.

sounds like shes going into heat, but it also sounds like she may be getting wait tail. call your vet and ask if there is anything that you could do at home to help her. When I worked at a pet store I use to put a little bena bac on some cabbage ( use the weight chart on the package) and it helped with their digestion.
hmmm it sounds like she is going to go through heat soon but i cant be positive because there isnt enough infomation there. so if you are really worried i would recommend a quick trip to the vet.
is it possible she may be pregnet? you can buy pregnet one's on accident
a.) why are you smelling your hamster's genitalia? ech
b.) your hamster is going into heat. Go back to the pet store and ask about it. (they should be able to give you some helpful tips)
If your hamster is more than a month old, then she is probably on heat. A hamster goes on heat (get ready for this) EVERY 4 DAYS!
You just have to clean her cage often so that it won't smell bad.

she may be in heat! they come in heat every month for about 3 days
Vet bills should be considered BEFORE getting a pet.Ring the vet first to see if they can offer any explanation for it over the phone, if not, your only option is to take her to see them, it could be something that needs immediate treatment.
